The thermal management based piston ring-cylinder liner low friction experimental system is characterized by comprising a cylinder liner fixing and heat transfer device for piston ring-cylinder liner fixing and heat transfer, a constant-temperature lubricant passage for providing constant-temperature lubricant for the system and a speed adjusting motor for driving a crank-connecting rod mechanism and a piston ring-cylinder liner assembly, wherein the cylinder liner fixing and heat transfer device comprises longitudinal fixing plates, clamps, cylinder liner electric heaters, a piston ring electric heater, cylinder liner thermocouples, a piston ring thermocouple and radial elastic fixing rings, the longitudinal fixing plates are symmetrically arranged on the left and right sides of a cylinder liner respectively, the cylinder liner is fixed between upper and lower inner surfaces of each longitudinal fixing plate, pretension bolts are mounted at upper and lower ends of each longitudinal fixing plate, and pressure sensors are arranged on end surfaces, contacted with the cylinder liner, of the longitudinal fixing plates; a plurality of cylinder liner electric heaters are distributed on the outer side of the cylinder liner uniformly in the height direction of the cylinder liner.
