The automatic detection system comprises a zero sequence voltage acquisition module, a three-phase voltage detection module, a fault diagnosis module, a power database, a processor and a plurality of control execution modules, wherein the fault diagnosis module is connected with the zero sequence voltage acquisition module, the three-phase voltage detection module and the power database; and the processor is connected with the power database, the fault diagnosis module and the control execution modules. According to the automatic detection system disclosed by the invention, the fault diagnosis module and the processor are combined with the zero sequence voltage acquisition module and the three-phase voltage detection module, so that automatic detection and diagnosis for the single-phase earth faults of all buses can be realized, and off control of the control execution modules connected with the buseshaving the single-phase earth faults is performed to further eliminate the single-phase earth faults of all the buses. The automatic detection system has the effects of automatic detection, diagnosisand repair; and the influence of the single-phase earth faults on operation of an electric power system is reduced, and operation stability and safety of the electric power system are improved.
