The invention has the beneficial effects that the zirconium carbide can be used for absorbing visible light and near and far infrared light, the concept of applying the absorption and thermal conversion characteristics of the zirconium carbide to the heat storage and warm keeping fibre is different from the traditional fibre, and the heat storage and warm keeping effects are obviously improved. The method for preparing the fibre has peculiar process for treating the zirconium carbide, thus causing the spinning process to be smoothly carried out and ensuring the fibre quality and the durability of the heat storage function.
