The invention discloses a method and device for sterilizing a 
water body in combination with three-dimensional 
electrode and 
photocatalysis, and application of the method and the device. The method comprises the steps of: firstly, treating the 
water body to be treated by electrochemical reaction of the three-dimensional 
electrode; and then, sequentially treating the 
water body by 
photocatalytic reaction agent under the excitation of 
ultraviolet light to obtain the sterilized water body. The device for realizing the method comprises a three-dimensional 
electrode electrochemical sterilization 
pool and an 
ultraviolet light catalytic sterilization 
pool, which are sequentially connected with each other; the two 
pool walls of the three-dimensional electrode electrochemical sterilization pool are respectively provided with a 
cathode and an 
anode, which are connected with a power supply, and the three-dimensional electrode electrochemical sterilization pool is internally provided with three-dimensional electrode filler; and the pool wall of the 
ultraviolet light catalytic sterilization pool is fixedly provided with a photocatalyst layer, and the 
ultraviolet light catalytic sterilization pool is internally provided with a plurality of ultraviolet lamps used for exciting photocatalyst. After the technology for combining the three-dimensional electrode sterilization and ultraviolet lightcatalysis is adopted, the lower 
voltage and the 
ultraviolet light catalysis is carried out, waste water with higher 
bacteria-containing concentration can be treated efficiently, and the effect of continuous and efficient sterilization can be achieved by a one-
step method, so that the bright and clear in application prospect is realized.
