A four-legged cane that reduces the risk of tripping for the elderly

Disclosed is a four-foot walking stick capable of lowering stumbling risks of an old person. Four supporting feet extend out from four corners of a column foot plate outwards and include three fixed supporting feet and a movable supporting foot, and the movable supporting foot rotating around a vertical shaft on the column foot plate is arranged at the corner closest to the foot of the person and usually stops at a position butting against a retaining column under the action of a rotary spring. When the walking stick falls to the ground, because of geotropic gravity, the movable supporting foot can only move horizontally, and the walking stick can bear force from top to bottom; when the old person carries the walking stick to go forward, the foot of the old person with the body most instable kicks the movable supporting foot, at the moment, the movable supporting foot is free of ground friction, and accordingly, horizontal resistance of the movable supporting foot is insufficient to stumble the old person. Since a roller can be arranged at a grounding position of the movable supporting foot, except for time nodes when the old person is easy to stumble, when the four-foot walking stick is placed flat downwards and the old person kicks the movable supporting foot, friction force between the movable supporting foot and the ground can be decreased under the action of the roller, kicking resistance is also decreased, and further, the stumbling risks of the old person can be minimized maximally.
