The invention discloses a planting method for interplanting sweet potatoes in 
ridge-bordered garlic lands. According to the planting method, a natural 
organic fertilizer for interplanting sweet potatoes is applied to the 
ridge-bordered garlic lands, wherein the natural 
organic fertilizer comprises the following components in parts by 
dry weight: 40-70 parts of 
forestry and agricultural residues, 10-20 parts of kieselguhr, 20-40 parts of 
phosphorus containing 
metamorphic rock powder with grain size of 300-450 meshes, 10-20 parts of an attapulgite 
powder mixture, 30-50 parts of tea 
polyphenol and 3-5 parts of bacillus laevolacticus; and the attapulgite 
powder mixture comprises the following components in parts by weight: 80-120 parts of attapulgite powder, 10-20 parts of 
sepiolite powder, 10-20 parts of coated 
ammonium bicarbonate, 3-5 parts of honey, 20-30 parts of 
mushroom cultivation waste 
bacteria, 3-7 parts of 
calamine powder and 1-3 parts of Chinese herbal 
medicine waste residues. By applying the natural 
organic fertilizer, the sweet potatoes planted according to the planting method disclosed in the invention contain a plurality of mineral elements, organic substances, 
protein, 
amino acid and 
carbohydrate beneficial for 
human body; and the planting method has a remarkable 
insect disease prevention effect for the planting of sweet potatoes, so that the yield of the sweet potatoes can be remarkably increased and the fruits are large.
