phyllostachys praecox at the selected planting time in December; D, tending young 
phyllostachys praecox forest, loosening soil for at least twice every year, to be more specific, loosening the soil at the depths 
ranging from 30 cm to 35 cm for the first time, loosening the soil at the depths 
ranging from 13 cm to 18 cm for the second time, applying fertilizers thrice every year, to be more specific, applying the fertilizers from May to June for the first time, applying the fertilizers before and after the White 
Dew for the second time, applying thefertilizers in January of a next year for the third time, retaining 1-2 new 
phyllostachys praecox plants of each mother
