The invention discloses a bean-saving chicken feed which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 35-45 parts of corn, 20-30 parts of hydrophyte natantia 
powder, 5-10 parts of bean pulp, 5-10 parts of Leguminosae 
straw powder, 5-10 parts of malt, 1-2 parts of 
multivitamin, 1-2 parts of microelement, 5-10 parts of blood 
powder, 2-4 parts of 
edible oil and 2-5 parts of animal viscera. The hydrophyte natantia powder comprises any one or more of 
lotus, 
calamus, 
Scirpus tabernaemontani, cattail, reed, pond lily, royal waterplatter, water chestnut, Nymphoides peltatum, 
hydrilla, 
hornwort, Vallisneria spiralis, curly pondweed, watermilfoil, common waaterrthacinth, 
Pistia stratiote Linn, Hydrocharis morsus-ranae, water 
fern, salvinia, water 
fern, Lemna duckweed, duckweed, 
Pistia stratiotes, 
Eichhornia crassipes and 
Lemna minor. The feed is simple in proportioning and convenient to use, and substitutes part of grain raw materials (mainly substitutes beans, and lowers the consumption of corn) with the hydrophyte natantia, thereby greatly lowering the cost of the feed.
