The invention discloses a method for extraction of 
selenoprotein from 
selenium-rich tea leaves. The method includes: taking 
selenium-rich tea leaves as the raw materials, subjecting the 
selenium-rich tea leaves to 
drying, crushing and sieving, adding 
ethanol, conducting heating in water bath at 60DEG C for 30min, performing 
centrifugation to obtain precipitate, repeating the steps, and then carrying out 
drying, crushing and sieving; adding 
distilled water into the obtained precipitate, conducting freezing for 3-5h in a low temperature refrigerator, conducting heating in water bath at 50-70DEG C for 30min, then performing freezing in the low temperature refrigerator for 3-5h, conducting heating in water bath at 50-70DEG C for 30min, and repeating the operation three times; adding a NaOH solution, conducting heating in water bath at 70-90DEG C for 3-4h, performing 
centrifugation under 3500rpm for 10min, repeating the process again on the precipitate, adjusting the pH of the supernatant to 2.5-3.5, carrying out standing, 
centrifugation and 
drying to obtain coarse 
selenoprotein. The method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple preparation process, easy operation and environmental friendliness. The obtained product has high 
selenoprotein content, and is a reliable source of organic selenium. Thus, the method is suitable for industrial production.
